How the exam works
Questions are scenario-based multiple choice or multiple response; each item says how many answers to pick. You get a pass/fail result with a scaled score and your percent correct per domain.
Registration runs through the Anthropic Partner Academy (currently for Claude Partner Network organisations). After a failed attempt you wait 14, then 30, then 90 days, with up to four attempts in 12 months. Renewal is a free non-proctored assessment if you renew on time.
Anthropic recommends 1–5 years of engineering experience, 6+ months hands-on with Claude, Python or TypeScript, and comfort with REST APIs and CLIs.
